A Most Relaxing Lakeside Getaway
When you have the chance to get away for a weekend and just want to relax, there is absolutely no better place to “get away from it all” than in the Lakes District.
Unless you go in Late Spring or High Summer, when the numerous activities that abound ensure the area is always teeming with tourists.
Which is why one weekend in the middle of winter my wife and I packed up the car and took ourselves away to spend a weekend of quiet, peaceful solitude with just the two of us.
